ABOUT DR. GOLDSTEIN

Dr. Goldstein enjoys ushering her patients through the often-overwhelming world of fertility care with intuition, empathy, and clear communication. She empowers her patients by making sure they understand their diagnosis and their treatment plan, which is always supported by the latest research. Dr. Goldstein lives in Los Angeles with her two children and her husband, Houman David Hemmati, M.D., Ph.D., who is an ophthalmologist at USC Keck School of Medicine and a biotechnology executive. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys rowing, kayaking, yoga, traveling, and hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Dr. Goldstein graduated from Brown University with an undergraduate degree with honors in Biology, where she received the James Kidwell prize in Genetics and Population Biology and was a varsity rower on the national champion Women’s Crew Team. She earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She subsequently completed rigorous training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, where she discovered her passion for caring for infertile patients under the mentorship of the esteemed Dr. Richard Reindollar, a pioneer in the field. Dr. Goldstein was offered a position in the prestigious fellowship training program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at both UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centers, where she cared for a broad range of fertility patients through evidence-based practices, compassionate and dedicated care, and use of state-of-the-art surgical and assisted reproductive technologies. While at UCLA, Dr. Goldstein published and internationally presented her revolutionary discovery of an important genetic mutation that causes what had previously been considered an unexplained cause of familial infertility. Dr. Goldstein is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and continues to contribute to innovative research in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is currently clinical faculty and Attending Physician at the UCLA School of Medicine, where she educates the next generation of reproductive specialists. She also serves as a physician liaison to the Feit 4 Kidz Fertility Loan Fund, increasing patient and physician awareness of a charitable resource for fertility care in the Southern California community.

Dr. Marli Amin, M.D.

Reproductive Partners - Orange County

Dr. Amin completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine, where she was given the ARISE star performer award for exemplifying academic achievement, respect, integrity, service, and excellence as a physician. This was followed by a three-year fellowship specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Amin has written numerous scientific journal articles and book chapters for leading medical journals and textbooks. She has been a presenter at many national meetings, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists (WAGO).

Dr. Amin is committed to helping her patients achieve the joys of parenthood. She lives in Long Beach with her husband and daughter and in her spare time enjoys traveling, gourmet food, and spending time with her family.
